Taught by one of the authors of the HyperDocs Handbook, this online course will teach the about HyperDocs - from what they are to how they can be used to transform learning in your classroom or school.

How are you using technology in your classroom? Want to truly redefine the student learning experience and shift your teaching practice? HyperDocs could be the answer you are looking for. A digital tool that replaces the worksheet method of delivering instruction, HyperDocs are a way to package web tools that can be used to transform your lessons into interactive, multi-layered experiences for students. HyperDocs will improve collaboration and instruction between all education stakeholders, including: students, teachers, administrators, instructional coaches, professional developers, and families. After taking this course you will be inspired to create and share!

Dive deep into the understanding of digital lesson design during this 4 week HyperDoc Boot Camp. Be prepared to create, collaborate, and connect with fellow educators. This cohort will engage in conversations around how and why we choose specific web tools and what impact they have on student learning. We will share strategies for creating a blended classroom including designing lessons, packaging, and workflow.

During this course, participants will be required to join us weekly for one hour of book study, one hour to create HyperDocs, and one hour of collaboration through Google Hangouts. Each week will cover a different topic around the power of digital lesson design, including: pedagogy, how to create HyperDocs, lesson study, and benefits of connecting with an online sharing community. Upon completion of this 15-hour course, participants can receive one unit of credit for an additional $55.
