Google Workspace for New Teachers

• All teachers need a foundational knowledge of Google Workspace for Education to work collaboratively with peers and inspire student learning
• Build confidence in yourself when using Google Workspace
• Ensure you have the basic working knowledge of the core Google Workspace applications
• Develop efficient and productive workflows using digital tools
• Develop a common language and experience between veteran and new teachers
• You'll walk away with practical knowledge and strategies you can use immediately
• Ensure each student is learning with today’s most relevant tools and applications
• Go beyond just work - but get creative.  You’ll learn more than just organization and workflow and learn ways to get creative with the tools.

During this course, educators will learn how to …

• Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
• Confidentially create, communicate and collaborate with the core Google Workspace Apps
• Collect and organize data, and conduct data analysis using Google Forms and Sheets
• Implement research and writing in the digital age, across teams, and in the classroom.
• Organize digital learning spaces for faculty and students with Google Drive and Google Classroom
• Communicate effectively and efficiently using Gmail and Google Classroom
• Organize meetings and activities using Google Calendar
• Collaborate both synchronously and asynchronously using Docs, Slides, and Sheets
• Design impact student learning experiences in an innovative digital learning environment
• Collaborate and communicate with other members of the online course to share learning
